Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers nursing care to patients of all ages under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements
Current Licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina
Certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers
Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses growth and development needs for the patient for whom the LPN will be providing nursing care.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
