Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starting wage $23.00, adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:
As part of the vehicle maintenance team our powersports/small engine mechanics primary responsibility is the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of snowmobiles, ATV’s & SXS’s, as well as, maintaining or advising replacement of snowblowers, weedwhackers, chainsaws, generators etc. Perform other tasks as the need arises.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Perform regular service and preventive maintenance on snowmobiles, ATV’s, chain saws, etc. and keep them in safe, dependable, and efficient operating condition.
Locate and diagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment.
Perform a variety of necessary repairs.
Retrieve disabled snowmobiles and ATV’s from job sites as needed.
Maintain shop tools, equipment, and work areas.
Prepare logs and records of maintenance and repair work done. Properly allocate time and materials.
Assist in ordering and maintaining parts inventory.
Maintain an inventory of small engine equipment, record condition and assign responsibilities to appropriate departments.
Work in a safe and efficient manner. Help other departments by team supporting when needed.
Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner
Perform all other tasks as assigned
Basic Requirements:
High school diploma, plus technical/vocational training in auto mechanics, plus 2 to 3 years of relevant technical and supervisory experience
OR
A combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
Valid and current driver’s license
Required skills, knowledge, and abilities:
Broad base of technical knowledge and skills related to vehicle maintenance
Ability to push, pull and/or lift up to 50lbs repetitively
Motivated to learn and able to ask for help when needed
Ability to follow directions and complete assignments/tasks with or without supervision
Must be flexible and able to adjust to the requirements of the resort as needed
Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of other company personnel and outside firms
